The Future Youth Group is the voice of those young people of Pakistan who want to contribute their services to the betterment of the whole community. Basically, it’s the youth wing of the Liberal Forum Pakistan for youth between the ages of 19 and 35. It was formed by youth delegates in 2002 during two days conference on “The role and responsibility of young liberals” It started as a small group of a few likeminded young individuals but today, the FYG represents all four provinces of Pakistan with the registered membership of more than 600 youth.
The Liberals envision a tolerant and peaceful society where there is democracy and equal opportunities. In the Pakistani society, the young generation is empowered, responsible and active. FYG will be a strong network of liberal youth, assuming a leading role in promoting liberalism, democracy, and peace throughout Pakistan.
To enhance the understanding of politics among the youth and sensitize them about the socio-political situation of Pakistan. To work as a pressure group to advocate progressive education reform, and to identify and engage potential young politicians in the march towards moderate and democratic political environment.
