Youth Conference in Hyderabad
Future Youth Group Hyderabad Chapter organized Youth Conference in collaboration with Christian Study Center (CSC) on 25th May 2008 at Press Club Hyderabad. Throughout the conference, representatives and members emphasized the role of youth for peace. They focused on the issues such as maintaining peace and helping humanity. They welcomed the new government and its chair leaders, and the decision about revival of student unions. They encouraged the youth to come forward; raise voices and join together to help humanity. They said youth has to play the key role and work collectively in peacemaking, shaping the educational environment and in development of Pakistan. They reviewed opportunities for young people and demanded employment for the youth. Speakers included Ross Mahtani General Secretary FYG, Shyam Lal Member PPP Sindh Minority Wing, Jai Hemnani President FYG Hyd Chapter,Muzammil Muhammad Arisar, Kanhaiya Lal, Adeel Siddiqui President Leo Club, Waqar Shaikh Human Rights Commission Pakistan Hyderabad, Wahab Munshi Columnist and others.
Future Youth Group meets to discuss the structural and thematic issues in a Cabinet Meeting on 26th April 2008 in Lahore.
The cabinet decides to have an interim set up till the Annual General Meeting. The decision will be presented before AGM for approval. Rana Farhan Anwar is chosen as the Acting President for the interim period as Mr. Abbas Sarwar Qureshi has resigned from the position of the President FYG due to his official engagements.

Mr. Farhan Anwar has represented Future Youth Group in a Training on “Political Communication and Making Events Work” in Bangkok organized by YLDA in June.
Mr. Ubaid ur Rehman, Coordinator Sindh of FYG qualifies online Phase of the IAF seminar on “Strategic Planning”. He has been invited to attend the presence phase of the seminar in Germany in June.
Information Secretary, Mr. Zubair travels to Russia after the sad demise of his brother recently.
The Organization
The Future Youth Group is the voice of those young people of Pakistan who want to contribute their services to the betterment of the whole community. Basically, it’s the youth wing of the Liberal Forum Pakistan for youth between the ages of 16 and 30. It was formed by youth delegates in 2002 during two days conference on “The role and responsibility of young liberals” It started as a small group of a few like minded young individuals but today, the FYG represents all four provinces of Pakistan with the registered membership of more than 600 youth.
